Out of all the research I have done on the subject of easy ways to make money online, testing websites seem to be one of the simplest ways to earn money online easily.  This is a good-paying way to make money online that almost anyone can pursue regardless of education level or job skills. 

Anyone with enough knowledge to use a computer, browse the internet, and use a search engine can perform the tasks required to complete website testing assignments.

You then perform a "test" website evaluation that you will record with a program usually provided by the company.  It will record your actions on the screen, as well as your audio description of your thoughts on the layout and use of the website.

The only prerequisite with most of these sites is a demonstration video of you testing a website for the company, so they may evaluate your ability to perform the task to their satisfaction before emailing you any assignments.  

Most websites have a pre-recorded sample website test video submitted by another of their workers that did a good job, so you can review it and know what is expected of you in your demo video.

For the video, you will need a program that records the actions you are performing on the computer screen, while also recording your verbal evaluation of the specific points about the website that you are supposed to review for the client company of the website that will be paying you for your work.  

There is a FREE program called CamStudio that will record all your actions on your computer screen and record your voice using the computer's microphone simultaneously.  

Amazon has an inexpensive microphone for $8.00 that will work fine to get you started in this particular online job, if the one on your computer doesn't have good sound quality.

WEBSITES THAT OFFER HIGH PAYING WEBSITE TESTING JOBS

1) Appen (Purchasing LeapForce) - This is a very reputable site that offers many different types of online jobs you can perform online, not just website evaluation videos.  

For website testing, they will require you to do an evaluation website test in order to verify your ability to perform the necessary functions of the task they need doing.

They pay $10 per website evaluation which should last approximately 20 minutes, and you must record your actions on screen in this video while recording your audio evaluation of the website.  They pay you through PayPal, so you must have a PayPal account.  If you don't have one already, now would be a good time to start one up before you start applying to these sites.

2) Analysia - This website pays you $10 for every test you complete.  Register for your account, complete a 15-minute sample test and wait until they email your tasks to complete. 

Most tasks take approximately 15 minutes to finish.  You will probably only get a few tests per month.  

Be sure you sign up for as many of these sites as possible, so you can make more money.  You will be paid for completed tests via Paypal.

3) Trymyui - This website pays $10 per website test which takes 15 to 20 minutes each to your Paypal account. 

You must do an introductory website test to work for this site, but you do get paid for your introductory test, if the client is happy with your work. 

Once your introductory website test is approved, you will be emailed other test opportunities. Payments are made bi-weekly to PayPal.

Be sure to check the inbox of your email for website testing opportunities before someone else takes the assignment. 

Income taxes will not be withheld from your pay.  You will be an independent contractor and must be responsible for your own taxes, so make sure to set aside money for tax time. That is the normal method of payment for most websites that do website tests.

4) UserTesting - This site pays $10 for every 20-minute website test you complete.  This website pays you to test websites and apps as well.  

You video your on-screen actions while completing certain tasks and speak your thoughts aloud at the same time.  

Once your test is completed, you will be paid through Paypal in exactly 7 days, so the company has time to make sure the quality of the test video is sufficient.

To work for UserTesting, you must be 18 years old and have a desktop or laptop, smartphone, or tablet.  You must be able to download their testing software, and you must speak fluent English. You must also complete a sample test.  

The number of tests that you will be able to complete via email will depend on demographics and the quality of the work you have submitted.

5) Amazon Mechanical Turk - This site has a variety of easy jobs and assignments you can do to earn money online without much experience.  One of many things they offer is website testing.

6) Enroll - Sign up.  You will perform website testing, and you will be notified by email with tasks.  Completed tests are paid via Paypal.  

You must be at least 16 years old to participate.  You can perform tests for Enroll on a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

7) Userlytics - On this website, you get paid to test websites, apps, prototypes, concepts, and more.  

You get paid bi-weekly for your completed tasks via PayPal.  If you are very ambitious, you can even manage website usability testing projects.  

When you click on the link to sign up, you will see all the different types of projects they offer.  I signed up for a demonstration of website usability testing.

The pay for projects is anywhere from $5 to $90, depending on what type of test you are performing, and how long it takes, and the difficulty level of the test.

8) Test.IO - This is one of the highest paying testing websites.  You can earn up to $50 per assignment.  

This website offers assignments testing websites, apps, games, and brands.  You can also get paid to rates apps and products.  

You must sign up and wait for your invitation email to do your first test.

9) Cognizant - This company offers all types of online jobs at varying rates of pay.  Click the link and see all the different jobs that may work for you.

10) StartUpLift - This company's testing is mainly in regards to social media.  You do get paid $5 for your test video if it's evaluated and found to be worthy of you receiving future assignments.  You will get paid for your assignments through PayPal.

11) TestingTime - This website pays up to 50 euros per study for a 30 to 90 minutes assignment which must be completed using Skype, so you will need a Skype account as well. 

They pay you within five days after the test by PayPal, so you must have a PayPal account.

12) IntelliZoom - This website offers tests for desktop and mobile apps.  You must submit a sample test which is usually approved within a few days.  

You will be paid $5 to $10 per test based on the difficulty of each assignment. Most assignments take 10 to 20 minutes. 

You will get paid by PayPal within 21 days after successful completion of your test.

13)  Validately - This website does mobile tests and website tests.   Usually, the tests are about 5 minutes long, and you get paid $5 per test.  

They also offer live tests over the phone or you share ice cream with a moderator, and these tests pay a minimum of $25 for a 30-minute test.  

The site pays you within 5 days of the completion of a test by PayPal.

14)  UserTest.io - Sign up by clicking the link preceding this sentence, then you must download the software for this company to do a five-minute sample test.  

Submit your sample test, and you must wait until they email you to let you know if you qualify for paid website testing.  

You should get an email letting you know if you qualify within 14 days.  Amazon and Red Bull are some of their more high-profile clients.

UserTest.io pays $10 per review completed directly to your Paypal account within two days of your website review completion.  This website allows you to perform your website reviews on a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet, which is better than most of the websites listed.  

Most of the companies that pay people to do these website tests only allow desktops or laptops. Most tests average 20 minutes each in length.

15) UserBrain - Apply to be a tester with UserBrain.  You are then required to complete a sample test that takes 5 to 15 minutes.  

If you are approved for paid testing, then you will be emailed new tests each week that take 5 to 15 minutes each.  You get paid $3 per test via Paypal once per week.  

They offer a video of a good sample test and a "Tester Guide" so you can prepare for your sample test and learn what is expected of you.

16) Loop11 - Right now Loop 11 is accepting applications to become a paid website tester.  

To be eligible to become a paid tester, you must complete a 5-minute qualification test to prove your qualified and suited for their needs.  

You will have to approve access to your webcam from Loop 11 and your microphone so your test can be recorded.  At the end of the test, you will be required to provide some basic information about yourself so Loop 11 may contact you with assignments if they think you are a qualified candidate for work in the future.

Loop 11 pays above-average rates for qualified testing candidates. If they select you to participate.  

If you submit high-quality tests consistently, they also pay bonuses to testers.  I could not find exactly how much the rate of pay is for each test.

17) WhatUsersDo - This website doesn't go into much detail like the others.  It lists four steps to become a paid tester.  Sign up and download the screen recorder.  

Take a practice test and start earning money.  It seems like it may be one of the easiest to get started with paid assignments.
